The south section of the settlement faces to Erzincan-Refahiye motorway and fertile agricultural lands. The north and east parts are encircled by high hills and the south and east edges are surrounded by rocky areas. It is situated in an area that is quite rich in water sources. It was founded in a relatively high area. A great number of potsherds were encountered. Traces of illicit digging are common.
