The fortress extends in the east-west direction. The thickness of the defense wall preserved up to date is 2.5 m. The fortress is 21 m wide and 120 m high. It overlooks the region and it was built to control the valley located on its south. A creek flows from its south. The north, east and west sections of the fortress are encircled with forests. Therefore, these sections are secure in defending. Based on potsherds recovered from the fortress it is suggested that it was inhabited EBA and Middle Age [Özgül et al. 2013:281].
