It is located on the west of Gaban Kalesi (III). It was discovered during the survey conducted by Özgül and his team in 2011. The fortress was probably built to protect Gaban Kalesi (I) as well as the others. It is 25 m long and 18 m wide. Tuzluca Creek flows from its west and northwest. It is quite small. There are a few defense wall remains because of destruction. A great number of obsidians were discovered. No potsherds were found. The fact that it is similar to the other Gaban fortresses demonstrate that it is contemporary with the other fortresses. A necropolis was found 1 km east of Gaban Kalesi (IV). It is suggested that it belongs to Gaban IV. Based on the grave remains exposed due to illicit diggings, it is thought that the necropolis is dated to Early IA. The first grave extending in the north-south direction is 3 m long and 2 m wide. The second one in E-W direction is 4 m long and 3 m wide [Özgül et al. 2013:280].
