It is located 1 km south of Gaban Kalesi (II) in Çat Village of Erzurum Province. It was discovered during the survey conducted by Özgül and his team in 2011. Tuzluca Creek flows from the west skirts of the fortress. It is situated at strategically significant location. Potsherds collected form the surface show that it is dated to EBA [Özgül et al. 2013:280]. |
