It is located on the north of Ganisipi spring water that runs in W-E direction and meet with Cem Deresi in N-S directio, about 2 km northeast of Dogantas Village in Malazgirt District of Mus Province. It was discovered during the survey conducted by Biber-Çavusoglu in 2011. It is situated on the hill, the section facing to the south. Its façade faces to the south. It is carved into the bedrock. It consists of a rectangular dromos with a dimension of 1x1 m and an entrance with a dimension of 2.10-2.20x2.30-2.40 m and a squarish burial chamber with a height of 1.80 m. A rectangular shaped arched opening provides passage from anterior chamber to the burial chamber. The floor of the burial chamber is 0.20 m lower than the floor of the entrance. There is a bench with a width of 0.30-0.40 m, a length of 2.10 m and a height of 0.25 m in front of the north wall located opposite of the entrance. The roofing belongs to another structure that rises from the entrance and extends in a straight line. It is suggested that it is dated to Middle IA (Urartian Period) [Biber-Çavusoglu 2013:312]. |
