It is located on the south of Güleç Village on the west edge of Kartavin Mountains on the border of Tutak District of Agri Province, 3 km south of Murat Kolu Village, 25 km north of Malazgirt District of Mus Province. It was discovered during the survey conducted by Biber-Çavusoglu in 2011. It measures 85 m in the north-south direction and 70 m in the east-west direction. It is an oval shaped mound with flat cone. On the east section, Cem Creek flows in a deep valley. It is 1549 m high above the sea level and its eastern side 22 m high. Stones belonging to architectural structures were seen on some of the illicit digging pits. Among the sherds collected from the surface, IA sherds are common [Biber-Çavusoglu 2013:306]. |
