It is located 300 m east of Çad Mezrasi of Balkaya Village 1.5 km east of Karincali Village in Malazgirt District of Mus Province. It was discovered during the survey conducted by Biber-Çavusoglu in 2011. This steep mound with sharp cone is 45 m high, round shaped. Hardly visible traces of architecture were seen in the illicit digging pits. Potsherds were encountered on the surface. Among the potsherds collected from the surface, there is a bright black slipped sherd belonging to Early Transcaucasia Period as well [Biber-Çavusoglu 2013:304]. |
