| It is located near Çiplak Village in Çanakkale District. It was discovered during the survey conducted by Aslan-Polat in 2011. It is about 100 m in diameter. Potsherds belonging to Chalcolithic Period were collected from the surface. It is suggested that some of these potsherds could belong to Late Neolithic Period. Some basalt / stone axes were also recovered. It is suggested that the people who founded Troia could have lived here, as the settlement is located very close to Troia [Aslan-Polat 2013:10]. |
