It is located on the upper slopes of Aktepe ridge; by crow flies 2 km south-southeast of Yorazlar Village; 800 m northeast of the headwaters known as Üç Pinarlar; the area on the northeast of Çavusçu Lake in Ilgin District of Konya Province. It was discovered during the survey performed by Harmansah-Johnson in 2012. During the studies, the cultural layers containing archaeological deposit were found in the cave. Based on the preliminary results, potsherds are dated to Neolithic, Hellenistic period and Middle Age. In addition to those, there might a few potsherds which can be dated Chalcolithic and MBA (Assyrian Trade Colonial Period).
