Location: It is located about 25-26 km southwest of Tuzluca District of Igdir Province.
Geography and Environment: The channel was passed through the skirts of the mountain called Günorta Gasi. This channel located in the upper section of Hadimli Channel built parallel to it. The closest center of population is Candervis Village located 2-2.5 km north.
History:
Research and Excavation: The channel was discovered during the survey performed by O. Belli in 2011.
Stratigraphy:
Small Finds: Günorta Gasi Channel was built by blocking the narrow valley, where Karacaören Creek originating from the skirts of Sinek Plateau runs swiftly towards the east, with stones and transferring some parts of the creek water to the channel dug into the soil. It is about 80-90 cm in width and 60-70 cm in depth. The inside and the sides of the channel were covered with plants. It carries water to the fields on the north. The channel was built in the second half of 7th century BC like the other irrigation facilities in the vicinity.
