Small Finds: Haraba Channel was built by blocking the narrow valley, where Karacaören Creek originating from the skirts of Sinek Plateau runs swiftly towards the east, with stones and transferring some parts of the creek water to the channel dug into the soil. The channel which carries water towards the east is approx. 90-100 m in width and 70-80 cm in depth. It was found out that it was wider and deeper when the first time it was built. It was built to provide water to the fields which couldn't be irrigated by Karacaören Creek. The total length of the channel is approx. 10-11 km. The channel was built in the second half of 7th century BC like the other irrigation facilities in the vicinity.
