| The site, located southwest of Silopi east of Dicle; was discovered during the Surveys of Cizre-Silopi conducted by G. Algaze as a part of Southeastern Anatolia Project. It is located about 0.5 km north of Basköy (Tilkabin) Village in Silopi District. It measures 140 m in E-W and 105 m in N-S. It is 5.5 m in height. Potsherds belonging to Ubaid period were seen on the surface [Algaze et al. 2012:65]. |
