| The site, located southwest of Silopi east of Dicle; was discovered during the Surveys of Cizre-Silopi conducted by G. Algaze as a part of Southeastern Anatolia Project. It is located about 1.6 km east of Yankale (Basorin) Village in Silopi District. The mound is 115 m in diameter and 3 m in height. MBA, LBA and IA sherds were seen on the surface [Algaze et al. 2012:71]. |
