The site, located southwest of Silopi east of Dicle; was discovered during the Surveys of Cizre-Silopi conducted by G. Algaze as a part of Southeastern Anatolia Project. It is located near Surik Creek; about 1 km S-SW of Amarsava Mound in Bugdayli Village in Silopi District. It measures 180 m in N-S and 135 m in E-W. It is about 2-4 m in height. Potsherds belonging to MBA, LBA, IA, Hellenistic and Islamic periods were seen on the surface [Algaze et al. 2012:70].
