| The site, located southwest of Silopi east of Dicle; was discovered during the Surveys of Cizre-Silopi conducted by G. Algaze as a part of Southeastern Anatolia Project. It is located about 1.6 km S-SE of Bugdayli (Takyan) Village in Silopi District. It measures 160 m in N-S and 130 m in E-W. It is about 4 m in height. Potsherds belonging to LBA, IA and Hellenistic Period were seen on the surface [Algaze et al. 2012:67]. |
