It is located on the south of Batman-Diyarbakir motorway, about 20 m away from the road, in Bismil District of Diyarbakir Province. It appears in the Diyarbakir Culture Inventory which was achieved after the surveys organized by the Diyarbakir Province Culture and Tourism Directorship between 2009 and 2011. Birikadenna Lake is located on its south. The mound which covers an area of 200 square meters is 9 m in height. Potsherds and ground stones belonging to Chalcolithic, EBA, MBA, Early IA and Middle Age were seen on the surface. |
