It is located in Halkapinar Village in Çinar District of Diyarbakir Province. It appears in the Diyarbakir Culture Inventory which was achieved after the surveys organized by the Diyarbakir Province Culture and Tourism Directorship between 2009 and 2011. It is 100x150 m in dimension and 7 m in height. Based on the studies on pottery recovered from the surface, it has been discovered that the mound was inhabited during 1st millennium BC, Roman and Islamic periods. |
