It is situated in Uzunark Village, about 20 km far from Hazro District of Diyarbakir Province. It appears in the Diyarbakir Culture Inventory which was achieved after the surveys organized by the Diyarbakir Province Culture and Tourism Directorship between 2009 and 2011. Salat Creek flows in N-S direction from the skirts of the mound. The mound is 200x390 m in dimension and 38 m in height. It extends in the north-south direction. On the western section of the mound, there is a road leading to water tank located on the top. Potsherds belonging to Assyrian Period, Early IA and Middle Age and obsidian fragments were seen on the surface. |
