It is located 100 m south of Ambar Village in Kocaköy District of Diyarbakir Province. It appears in the Diyarbakir Culture Inventory which was achieved after the surveys organized by the Diyarbakir Province Culture and Tourism Directorship between 2009 and 2011.It is 9 m in height and 209x269 m in dimension. Ambar Creek and Ambar Bridge are located on the north of the mound. The architectural remains were exposed due to soil excavation conducted on its northern skirt. Grinding stones, a lot of obsidian pieces and potsherds belonging to 2nd and1st millennium BC, Chalcolithic, Middle Age and Islamic Period were seen on the surface. Based on the finds, the mound is dated back to Aceramic Neolithic.
