It is situated 100 m south of Çakmakli Village in Kocaköy District of Diyarbakir Province. It appears in the Diyarbakir Culture Inventory which was achieved after the surveys organized by the Diyarbakir Province Culture and Tourism Directorship between 2009 and 2011.It measures 3 m in height and 114x122 m in width. The mound has been entirely flattened and only the top part remained as in the form of ridge. It extends in the east-west direction and its eastern skirt is being used as a vineyard. Potsherds belonging to Chalcolithic, 2nd millennium BC, Middle Age and Islamic Period were seen on the surface. |
