It lies on the Aegean shore; about 3 km north of Odun Iskelesi; southwest of Çanakkale Province. It is a small mound. It measures 25 m in diameter. It was discovered during the Troy excavations of the Cincinnati University in 1932. EBA pottery (Troy I) and limited number of the Classical Period pottery were collected from the surface. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. It has been revisited during the survey conducted by Aslan in 2010. By now, Troia I ware has been known as the oldest material found in this settlement. Although surface material couldn't be collected in large quantity due to its surface being covered with plants and sand fill, potsherds belonging to earlier period of Troia I also were discovered. This settlement has great importance because of there are very few settlements belonging to earlier period of Troia I which are such close to the coastline in the Troad [Aslan 2012:151-152].
