It is located in Cami Tepesi Mevkii; at the edge of Ulucay; within the borders of Kayali Quarter in Akören Village in Vezirköprü District of Samsun Province. It was discovered during the survey performed for Oymaagac Höyük and its vicinity in 2005. The mound appears in the Samsun Culture Inventory which was achieved after the surveys organized by the Samsun Special Provincial Administration Directorship of Development and Construction in 2009. It has been reported that it measures 100x75 m in the research report. Plenty of potsherds and fragments of tiles were encountered on the surface. There is an old cemetery on its side and some village houses are located at the back. On the surface of this flat hill where the old cemetery is located and especially on the slope sections large amount of tile fragments and potsherds were encountered. This evidence suggests that this area might be a settlement which is connected with the mound.
