It is located 1 km northwest of Çamyatagi Village in Havza District of Samsun Province. The tumulus appears in the Samsun Culture Inventory which was achieved after the surveys organized by the Samsun Special Provincial Administration Directorship of Development and Construction in 2009.In 1974, it was discovered that the tumulus was located on a mound and in the literature, it has been reported that potsherds belonging to EBA, 2nd and 1st millennium BC, Roman Period and Late Antiquity were collected from the mound. Among the finds, sherds belonging to glazed ware were encountered as well.
