It lies on the rocky area; on the south of the dwellings in Avsar Quarter in Armutlu Village; in Elmali District of Antalya Province. The grave appears in the Antalya Culture Inventory which was achieved after the surveys organized by the Antalya Province Culture and Tourism Directorship in 2005. The rock grave looks like a sarcophagus with gabled kline and it has a single chamber and a single door. One of the long façades faces to the south and the other one faces to the north. The narrow façades faces to the east and the west. The large part of its body is embedded to the soil. The exposed sections of the door measure 1.8x0.4 m. The overall size of the grave is 3.5x2.4x2.0 m. It is dated to 4th century BC. |
