It is located immediate south of the junction of the Sapçidere-Gönen Streams; 300 m east of the Gönen-Biga road; 3 km northwest of Ulukir Village of Gönen District; Balikesir Province. It was discovered in 1989 during the Balikesir Survey conducted by M. Özdogan. Conic part of the mound has been truncated. Levels belonging to the EBA have been revealed as a result of continuous ploughing. Code G 7/7. It was revisited during the survey conducted by Yalçikli in 2011. The mound is 0.50 m high from the ground and it is 80 m in diameter. It was heavily destructed since the area was used for irrigated farming. As well as EBA potsherds, potsherds belonging to Chalcolithic Period were found on the surface [Yalçikli 2013:21].
