It is located on Kalatepesi; 200 m east of Kizilcaören Stream; 700 m northeast of Hamamözü Sub-District; northwest of Amasya Province. It was discovered in 1988 during a survey conducted by M. Özsait. Brown or red washed; jagged; channel and relief decorated EBA pottery with a fine grit tempered paste was collected from the surface. Some of the materials collected exposes the possibility of a Chalcolithic Age settlement. |
