It lies on Viransehir-Ovabag motorway, in Buçuktepe Village in Merkez District of Diyarbakir Province. The settlement appears in the Diyarbakir Culture Inventory which was achieved after the surveys organized by the Diyarbakir Province Culture and Tourism Directorship between 2009 and 2011. The mound is slightly flat and Bestehikecuk Creek, which comes from northeast part of the mound, creates the east and southeast borders. The collected sherds from the surface are dated to 3rd and 1st millennium BC and Islamic Period.
