| It is located at Gayret Quarter in Balci Village; Bor District of Nigde Province. It was discovered during the survey conducted by L. D'Alfonso in 2007. The settlement mentioned as Eskiköy Höyük in the publication. The mound is about 120 m in diameter [D'Alfonso 2009:163]. The settlement appears in the Nigde Culture Inventory which was achieved after the surveys organized by the Nigde Province Culture and Tourism Directorship in 2009. The mound is being used as a cemetery. The collected sherds from the surface are dated to EBA, IA, Hellenistic, Roman and periods. |
