It is located at Osmanyatagi Sulagi Mevkii; Konak Mezrasi; Aciyurt Village in Ulas District of Sivas Province. The settlement appears in the Sivas Culture Inventory which was achieved after the surveys organized by the Sivas Province Culture and Tourism Directorship between 2009 and 2012. Although the collected sherds from the upper parts and the south slopes belong to Byzantine Period, the ones (sherds with cord-impression and profile) collected from the north and northwest slopes, together with the fortification wall which can be seen from the surface and extends from the east of hill to south and west; indicate that the site was occupied during Hittite Period and IA. |
