It is located at Asagi Kale Mevkii, 3 km far from Koyulhisar District of Sivas Province. The settlement appears in the Sivas Culture Inventory which was achieved after the surveys organized by the Sivas Province Culture and Tourism Directorship between 2009 and 2012. It is a castle which is 150 m in height. The castle is situated on the rocks which lie down straight to the road. There are fortification walls on its south and southwest sections. Kelkit Çayi Hes Projects is being in progress on the northeast of the castle. Based on the sherds collected from surface, it was found out that the site was occupied from IA to Ottoman Period. Sherds also indicate that the castle was used for defense and accommodation.
