Location: This site is in the mountainous region 18 km southwest of the city of Nevsehir. It is immediately north of the Göldagi Peak by Acigöl Lake. Further information on the location of this site has not been provided.
Geography and Environment: No Information on the geographical and environmental setting of the site has been provided.
History:
Research and Excavation: The site was discovered by Halil Hasdemir in a survey he conducted as a student at Ankara University; DTCF; Department of Archaeology. In his surface survey; Hasdemir found a number of Palaeolithic tools and flakes. Sampling strategy and artifact frequencies are not reported.
Stratigraphy:
Small Finds: Sevket Aziz Kansu who analyzed the tools after the survey reported that the flakes found were typologically Levallois. All of the tools; which were obsidian; had been removed from the core by percussion and had then been worked on one face.
