It is located Kar Kayasi Mevkii on the east, at the entrance of Afsin Quarter, 7.5 km far from Malazgirt District of Mus Province. It was discovered during the survey performed by Biber and his team in 2010. It lies on the northern slope of the natural ridge. It consists of a partially damaged front entrance and a door opening built with cyclopean quadrangular stones and a burial chamber with undeterminate shape. The front entrance was erected by medium sized pitch-faced stones. Two large flagstones were placed vertically both sides of the door opening. Also the lentils in same size were put on the flagstones. There is an alcove resembling a locking system on the upper parts of the side stones. Potsherds belonging to IA and afterwards were collected from the surface [Biber et al. 2012:386]. |
