It is located 100 m east of Saçli Village in Pinarbasi District of Kayseri Province. Revisited before by G.H. Brown, the settlement was revisited during the survey conducted by Kulakoglu and his team in 2010. It lies on the natural terrace with a truncated conic shape near Zamanti River. Potsherds belonging to EBA, MBA, IA and Roman Period were recovered. Zamanti River and the valley following the river is a favorable trade route. Kurttepesi is the only largest center following the river and it's very important settlement [Kulakoglu et al. 2012:217].
