It is placed in Çalyayla Village, Merkez District of Çorum Province. It was discovered during the survey conducted by Sipahi-Yildirim in 2010. It is 1388 m in height. It is located at the dominating position for the region which faces to Kizilirmak. The settlement extends in a wide area. Roman jar burials were observed. A few potsherds belonging to 2nd millennium BC were identified in the surrounding area [Sipahi-Yildirim 2012:202]. |
