It is located in Yalçinlar Village, 50 km away from Merkez District of Kars Province. It was discovered during the survey performed by Günasdi and his team in 2010. The castle is located at the dominating position for the region. It is accessible through north, after passing through a rock cavity which extends in the north-south direction. The castle was constructed in accordance with the hill where was situated. Many architectural remains have been observed inside the castle. There are altars and a sanctuary on the south tip of the castle. Fine potsherds dating to EBA, IA, MIA and Middle Age were found in the castle which was frequently inhabited [Günasdi et al. 2012:61-62].
