It is located north of Yalçinlar Village, 50 km away from Merkez District of Kars Province. It was discovered during the survey performed by Günasdi and his team in 2010. 500 m away from the village, the hill is located northwest of another slope settlement. The hill lies on the east-west direction and its north side is very flat while the south side is highly steep. From the castle, Çorlu Creek can be reached through a short and steep pathway. The existence of landslip and a fire level is striking. Sherds discovered from the site are dated to EIA [Günasdi et al. 2012:61]. |
