It is located 400 m northwest of Erence Village, 7 km southwest of Tekman District of Erzurum Province. It was discovered during the survey performed by Günasdi and his team in 2010. Aras River flows to the west of the castle. It is accessible through a door on the south. The fortification walls are preserved only on the west section. To the east is a dried stream bed. The collected sherds from the surface are dated to EBA and IA (Middle IA) [Günasdi et al. 2012:56]. |
