It is one of the settlements flooded by the Keban Dam; located 1.3 km south of Haceri Village of Altinova; east of Elazig Province. It has been damaged due to continuous cultivation. It was a small and round mound. It measures 2 m in height and 125x110 m in dimensions. It was documented in 1967 by R. Whallon and S. Kantman. On the basis of the samples collected from the surface; it is suggested that the settlement had been inhabited widely during the Middle Ages whereas rarely during the EBA I-II and MBA. EBA pottery are remarkable with samples of burnished; plain and fine ware. |
