| It is located just southwest of middle quarter of Asagimescit Village in Zara District of Sivas Province. It was discovered during the survey performed by Engin and his research team in 2010. It is a small sized mound located on the ridge which extends in approximately northwest-southeast direction. The conical shaped mound is well preserved. The settlement is situated in a broad-based valley which narrows towards east. While the north part of the valley is surrounded by high hills, there are high mountains on the north. Small amount of IA, Hellenistic, Roman and Middle Age finds are collected from the surface since the mound is covered with vegetation [Engin et al. 2012:178]. |
