This site is 500m West of Sarýveliler Suburb of Karaman City. It is documented during the survey carried out by Bahar in 2009. Its altitude is 1,862 m. An antique settlement exists in the location named Gemi Hill. A fort-city built on a high hill with architecture and potteries utilized during Roman and Byzantium Periods. An apsis that belongs to a chapel exists in the West of these buildings. Antique graves in the flatland in the North of the fort settlement are worth noting. Rock tombs on the West slope carved in the main rock and cist graves on the flatland are remarkable [Bahar 2011: 309]. |
