Two rock tombs are documented during the survey carried out by A. Dilmen in 2009 in Bitez County of Balcilar Locality of Bodrum Suburb of Mugla City. The remains are located in the South-North direction and ordered in simple formation in general. A litus is found during the surveys carried out in the South in the slopes of Mese Hill. The modern agriculture terraces seen in the slopes of Mese Hill are important evidences of continuity of the antique agricultural activities to date in this region. And another pointer of such activities is the weigh stone used for the olive workmanship [Diler et al. 2011: 188]. There is a rock-cut burial chamber on the easter slope of Mese Hill. The chamber faces the north. It is in a rectangular plan. Near the grave, a door lintel, remains of an ancient farmhouse and a wall built with large blocks were determined. The chamber is registered with the number of AS4 in the Cultural Inventory of Mugla Province [Mugla KE III.1 2013:188].
