This site is near Karabüvet Creek in Kocaçeşme Village of Gelibolu Suburb of Çanakkale City. It is documented during the survey carried out by O. Özbek in 2009. The site covers a field of approximately 140 m in diameter. This settlement has no apparent elevation and has an altitude of 39 m approximately. Large amount of sea shells are observed on the surface of the mound. Among the finds gathered from the surface of this mound are pieces from Chalcolithic and EBA potteries, and pieces of sculptured and grinded stone industry (pieces of Neolithic axes, hammers, pestles) [Özbek 2011: 450-451]. The mound was revisited during the survey conducted by Özbek in 2010. Potsherds, chipped stone and ground stone tools belonging to Chalcolithic and EBA were recovered on the surface. It has been clearly observed that there is a slight difference in altitude between the north section and south section of the mound [Özbek 2012:464].
