It is re-assessed during the survey carried out by F. Kulakoğlu in 2009. The mound is covered with many pieces of rocks. Although the excavation reports state findings that are captured in layers that belong to 2nd Millennium BC not many pieces of pottery found during the survey. Most of the pieces of pottery collected from the surface of the mound belong to 1st Millennium BC. An antique road exists in the South of the mound. Wheel tracks are observed on this road on natural rocks. And the region is used as andesite rock mine [Kulakoğlu et al. 2011: 413].
