There are two raised lands in İnalözü Village of Sungurlu Suburb of Çorum City, one in the Northeast and one in the Southeast. It is documented during the survey carried out by Yıldırım-Sipahi in 2009. Dayıncak Creek flows between the two raised lands. While no ceramics exist in the Northeast land, few traces of 2nd Millennium BC ceramics are observed in the lower farms. 1st Millennium BC and Roman Period ceramics are collected from the slopes of the elevated land in the South. And few ceramics are observed in the surrounding farms from 1st Millennium BC and Roman Period [Yıldırım-Sipahi 2011: 46]. |
