It was located on the southeastern bank of the Eski Heringet Stream; 500 m northeast of Alisam Village; northwest of Içme District; east-southeast of Elazig Province. It was completely submerged in 1974 with the start of the Keban Dam. It was a very low mound. It measured 110x80 m in dimensions and 1.5 -2 m in height. It was located some 6 m higher than the Heringet's level. It is difficult to notice since it is located on a ridge. Very limited number of EBA I-II pottery was collected from the surface. According to Whallon; it housed a poor and small EBA settlement. It is coded under 0 54 / 27. |
