This site is in 214 degree Southwest and 470 m distance from Eskice Village entrance of Mecitözü Suburb of Çorum City. It is documented during the survey carried out by Yıldırım-Sipahi in 2009. It is a medium-sized, oval-shaped mound. Few potteries are observed in this settlement which is believed to be inhabited between 3rd and 2nd Millennium BC. It has a dominant location overlooking the valley and it is built on a fruitful flatland. The skirts of the mound are currently being used as farms and gardens. The potteries are scattered around in a circle of 200 m in diameter -taking the mound as the centre point [Yıldırım-Sipahi 2011: 44]. |
