This site is in Güvendik Village of Sungurlu Suburb of Çorum City. It is 4 km East of Kale Mound in the same region. This narrow valley opens to the Delice River Basin. Compared to the village this EBA settlement stands out as a station which is positioned at a dominant place overlooking the valley. It is found that these types of small centres are positioned at dominant points [Yıldırım-Sipahi 2011: 41-42]. |
