This site is near the Delice River in Güvendik Village of Sungurlu Suburb of Çorum City. It is documented during the survey carried out by Yıldırım-Sipahi. The slope of the mound is facing Delice and is laid back to a conglomerate rock. The mound is 185 by 160 metres wide and 45 metres high. Traces of inhabitancy are distinctive at the rocky side starting from 2nd Millennium BC, and at the other parts starting from 3rd Millennium BC. Black and red EBA potteries are found. The general appearance of the mound is like Boyalı Mound. Güvendik Fort Mound reflects the common characteristics of Delice Mounds. It is located in the basin which reached to Resuloğlu. Traces of a cemetery are seen in the slopes on the other side, facing mound that are from 3rd Millennium BC [Yıldırım-Sipahi 2011: 41].
