This site is approximately 500 m West of Beğendik Village in İmranlı suburb of Sivas City, and in the South of Sivas-Erzincan highway. It was researched by A. Engin in 2009 and found to be approximately 50 m wide and 20 m high. The mound is positioned on a natural main rock. Kızılırmak River flows 500 m South of the settlement. The material gathered from the surface is dated as Late Chalcolithic and EBA [Engin 2011:86]. |
