The mound is located in a strategic and dominant position overlooking the region. The mound's skirts cover a wide area. The settlement rests its back to the limestone main rock in the South - Southwest. 3rd, 2nd and 1st Millennium BC and Galat (Roman) pottery is encountered on the surface [Yıldırım-Sipahi 2011: 39-40]. |
